The Alma Taverns Boutique Suites - Room 1 - Hopewell

The room was absolutely lovely and very spacious! We immediately felt at home. Everything was sparklingly clean and the staff were without exception incredibly friendly. We are particularly grateful to the woman who did the housekeeping, who could not have been nicer and always made sure we had everything we needed. Having the theatre and pub downstairs was also a plus and we enjoyed having live jazz music, a pub quiz and several performances so close by. The location is lovely and there are lots of food and drink options around.

We loved everything about it and will likely be back.

Comfy bed. Good location. Friendly welcome. Would have liked to eat in the pub downstairs as it looked great, but had other commitments. Cereals, milk, water etc were very convenient. Books and games in the room.

Slightly strange 'back stairs' type access with rubbish sacks from pub/theatre felt a bit at odds with the 'boutique' marketing of the rooms. Layer of mould on the liquid soap in the shower wasn't great. Broken blinds need fixing.

convenience for Clifton Village. Staff helpful and friendly. Food in the pub fine and o problem with noise.

There were 4 rooms booked and staff put me in the wrong room. The blind in Room one needs to be fixed. As a result of booking the 4 rooms, which had to be booked individually I ended up with 150 emails and messages about the booking!!!
