GBThe member off staff Jess was very polite and very helpfull. The room was very clean and beds were comfortable.
Having no knowledge of the area. i was a bit disappointed that the pub didnt severe food or breakfast in the morning. The shower needs attention with it being shared by others staying their.

GBThe location is great, and the barman that welcomed me, Andy was very polite and friendly.
1) The room was like a refrigerator. It was so cold I had to sleep with tracksuit bottoms, t-shirt and a hoodie, with the hood up! I tried adjusting the thermostat on the radiator but it was clear it wasn’t on. 2) I couldn’t find anyway of contact the property, until early morning when I found a curled up piece of paper on the back of the door that I didn’t see because it was curled over I didn’t see the text. 3) Two of the three towels they left out for me have stains on them. Stains that look like makeup and one of them, bodily fluid from an orifice. I took photos. 4) There were no complimentary toiletries as is common in any hotel room with a shower. I thought this was strange but then I found the room checklist and could see that there should have been some, along with other things that were missing like biscuits from the tea caddy or even the full complement of towels I was meant to have, Dirty or not! Again, I got a picture of the list to prove this. 5) There was a very bright external floodlight directly above the window that was completely unacceptable. Even with the curtains drawn it was light enough to be fooled it was still the middle of the afternoon. This was on all night. 6)The TV didn’t work. It turned it on and it just showed a blank screen, no matter which source I selected. 7) The worst thing of all was there had clearly been an animal staying in the room. I have an allergy to fur, especially cats but lots of dogs too. It affects my breathing, it makes my eyes swell and get sore and this is exactly what happened when I tried to lay down to sleep. There must have been an animal sleeping on those pillows or on the bed at some point without the cushions or pillows being cleaned afterwards. I specifically checked the listing on booking.com to make sure there was no mention of pets. I finally found out when I found the curled up paper on the door this morning that they do allow dogs.
