The Saddle Inn

The room was very cold. Heating system not sufficient.

Room was too cold. Wet towels left in room.

Staff very friendly and helpful. I thought the busy bar below would keep us awake but we could hardly hear a thing upstairs. Very close to York University.

Could have been a bit cleaner - particularly the bathroom floor which needed a good scrub and the fan above the toilet which was thick with dust. Also a bad odour in the bathroom when the toilet was flushed. We had to keep the door closed.

Great to have late night access once we had checked in.

As it was quite basuc would have expected a slightly cheaper price. The showerhead was very low: ok for us - but weare both under 5 foot tall ! The photograph of the carpark is very deceptive- it is quite small and access is through a narrow archway.

I liked the freindly locals felt safe and slept marvelous.A nice relaxing break thinking definatly going again.

Only thing was tv did not work but I like reading anyhow.
