Andy was really helpful, let me leave my car there before check in as I arrived early. Good parking, comfortable bed, decent shower facilities, en suite

Everything was fine for what I needed. I was staying on my own and didn't spend much time in the room as I was mostly out and about.

Nice location close to York. About a 40 min slow walk along river which was lovely. In the room- Beds were comfortable and clean. Shared shower room/toilet basic but ok. Staff were friendly when we arrived. If we were staying longer the entertainment seemed great.

The rest of room a bit dated and quite dusty/dirty in places. Said free wifi but no code was given but didn’t mater too much as we had data. (toilet roll run out in morning but we were leaving luckily as no one around to ask). Quite loud music until late when we stayed, fine if you wanted to party but we needed to rest for our journey the next day.

Dirty, stinky, shower dont work only cold water. I dont recommend this nasty place to anyone.

Lovely staff especially Andy. Made to feel at home.

Bar Staff were great

Window in bedroom wide open when we entered. Mouldy rooms. Holes in walls and doors. Bedding felt damp as rooms were that cold. No heating. No hot water the next morning.

The bed was comfortable and the room was cozy and clean, the staff were wonderful and the facilities were well stocked, clean and well maintained. The bar downstairs had cheap prices and a good atmosphere too

The shower pressure was a bit low and the temperature dial was backwards - hot was cold and cold was hot. There was some mould in the bathroom and the room got very cold through the night.

The young man that greeted us was very welcoming, so polite .

We couldnt watch t.v , also shower didn't work right . The traffic was loud , it was cold in rooms .

no heating on in the rooms upstairs were we stayed had to sleep with socks on a jumper absolutely freezing!! The website said the inn did food but was crossed out on the board outside and the bar staff said they had stopped doing food due to covid The t.v. was broken i informed the bar staff early Friday evening of issues and expected them to be rectified by Saturday which they wasn't i even bought batteries for the remote to no avail
