Lovely welcome and made to feel at home

First time in a country pub/b&b with no hot breakfast offered.

We booked the Stag as it was close to where were visiting, we arrived late afternoon and were greeted by Stamatis who showed us to our room. The room though compact was beautifully decorated and laid out, the bed was so comfy and teh facilities were just what we needed after a days walking. We hadnt booked in for food, but were able to get a table, and we were so glad we did, we had the 3 dip starter, and just have to say it was amazing, especially the feta chilli dip, they need to jar that and sell it separately, our mains were of similar quality and taste, amazing... and we could not fault the way we were treated, the whole family are amazing. We spent a good hour after dinner chatting to Stamatis who was a gracious host. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area, the Stags Head is definitely on our list of places to return to.

There was nothing to dislike about the property or area.

Rooms are quaint and cosy. food in the pub is always delicious and free breakfast is lovely.

The water pressure is very poor so shower not fantastic but overall not a major problem.

Quirky, full of character and quiet

No cooked breakfast option and overpriced menu, for what you get.

The setting is in a small, quiet village location. Our evening meal-the Greek platter-was very good.

Our cereal, fruit, yogurt and toast was perfectly adequate-but I would have preferred a cooked breakfast.

A lovely room in a great pub within a beautiful village. Dinner and breakfast were both very nice. Some amazing views on local walks!
