Lovely breakfast choice and tremendous staff, the atmosphere throughout excellent.

Stairway a little tight but rails all in place.

Friendly local pub vibe, & good food. Great value.

Bed uncomfortable, sleeps steps into bathroom. Generally tired furnishings

Breakfast was ample and excellent. Good choice of eggs, bacon, mushrooms, toast etc and cereals.

The bedroom was spacious and very comfortable bed. Quiet location. The bathroom again was well equipped but the bathroom window is in need of some maintenance!

You won't be hungry after this breakfast. Top quality ingredients, generous serving. Served from 8 am, convenient for some. Evening meals were excellent and the place is popular with locals. I booked following a recommendation.

My room while perfecty comfortable had it's private bathroom located across the hall. A minor inconvenience. I always look for ensuite but didn't read the details carefully. The shower has an on off switch operated by a pull cord next to the one for the light. I'm probably not the first that has disabled the shower by mistake, a lable explaining would be useful. I think a comfortable chair should be included in most rooms nowadays.
