Breakfast menu very limited.Road noise is excessive

This was our first stay at "Brick Kilns" and we liked everything about it. Room was very comfy and had all the facilities we needed. We had pre-booked for evening meal and were very pleased with the food. My wife had Steak & Ale pie and I had Smoked Haddock. Main courses were really good and we had a (stunningly tasty) lemon cheesecake to follow. Very nice food all round and a super selection of beers, cider, lagers and spirits etc. to compliment the food. The Pub Bar and / Restaurant are traditional and very tastefully decorated. We felt very at home in every respect. Good breakfasts in conservatory area set us up nicely each day. Car park is large and easily accessible from the cross-roads where it;s situated, but as as motorcyclists, they allowed us to use their own separate gated space at the rear of the pub, which we found very beneficial. The location gave us very quick and easy access to the outer Norwich ring roads and the Pub itself is un-missable due to its unique colour (see the photos). At no point did we have to sit in heavy traffic when coming to and going from it. This pub has had the same owners for many, many years and that in our view says they are doing it right and know their craft. That is reflected also in the staff, all of whom were so friendly, polite and helpful. A traditional pub with everything we needed, "Brick Kilns" gets a "10" from us and we won't hesitate to stay again. Well done to Mandy and the team there. See you again.

This is a classic old pub, we really enjoyed our stay here. Staff were nice, breakfast was good too. Our room was small but comfortable.

The fresh fish on the menu. If you've never tried a skate wing you need to go here and try it. It's beautiful! Staff friendly , room bright and airy.
