Great location; very nice breakfast; very friendly staff; room was small and didnt have great view but bed was excellent and bathroom was good. Very quiet at night despite being part of a pub and next to train station

"A comfortable and easy stay at The Rambler Inn. We will be back!"

We enjoyed a welcoming atmosphere in the pub when we arrived and our rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly, helpful and happy to give advice about our walks and where else to eat. The breakfast options were varied and there was an option to have a packed lunch to take up the hill. Sunday lunch was yummy and we had a pleasant afternoon sitting in the generous garden after a busy morning of walking. Being so close to the station and with easy access to Kinder Scout and Mam Tor, it was a lovely, easy two night break.
