The Swan Hotel

Accommodation was dated but clean and the shower was lovely and hot. The hotel staff are really friendly and can't do enough for you. The breakfast was great and lots of it. We also used the restaurant for our main meal each day and the dinners were superb and very reasonable.

Stairs are very steep , we were on the 2nd floor and it was a bit hard going.

It was lively and clean the breakfast was lovely with quality products

Perhaps maybe larger towels but that’s my preference I like a bath sheet

Everything is a little shabby

Because I needed an early breakfast I was provided with a very nice packed breakfast left by my door the previous evening.

Very friendly and helpful staff, clearly keen that guests should enjoy their stay. Very helpful with regard to meals. I have stayed at this hotel previously so both knew what to expect and chose to go again.

Nothing in particular. My stay included a Sunday night when the bar isn't open, but that is a very minor issue.

Staff friendly and helpful. Nice facilities.

Found the towel rail boost button lit the room at night, it is very bright.
