As we are closed Sunday evenings the last check in on a Sunday is 6pm unless extended by prior arrangement. No Christmas Day arrivals (All Christmas bookings must arrive Christmas Eve or before or on Boxing Day) As we are closed on Christmas Day a festive breakfast hamper will be delivered to your room late on Christmas Eve evening. A deposit may be required at the property.

I stay here regularly when in the area. It has an old fashioned loveliness about it. Staff are brilliant and could not be more helpful. Premises are in centre of Lydney with good parking. Last food orders at 7 but there is an excellent Thai resteraunt next door. Always look forward to staying there.

Property was in a perfect spot for us, although a lovely old building the state of repair was good and the facilities were also good

Our room was on the top floor , which for us was not an issue however this wasn’t mentioned when we booked

The breakfast was superb and the staff very friendly and welcoming

The room was dated. Cracked window pane - standard size double bed - the room could have taken a king. Bedding was cheap and not great quality. Discolouring on ceiling above shower - black mould starting to come through

Staff were excellent, especially one lady unfortunately didn’t catch her name but she was superb! Made sure all was okay upon arrival and sorted breakfast out for us as we had to leave early, highly recommended and will be back. Good location.

Shower was a bit small, could do with a mini fridge in the room
