As we are closed Sunday evenings the last check in on a Sunday is 6pm unless extended by prior arrangement. No Christmas Day arrivals (All Christmas bookings must arrive Christmas Eve or before or on Boxing Day) As we are closed on Christmas Day a festive breakfast hamper will be delivered to your room late on Christmas Eve evening. A deposit may be required at the property.

Great staff very friendly and welcoming. Room clean and comfortable. Great breakfast There was no meals the night we were there, .but there is a Thai restaurant 2 minutes walk away which was excellent.!

"Lovely old pub, good rooms and food. Easy access to the forest."

The 2 ladies who run the pub were very helpful and the food I had was excellent, a lunch and 2 breakfasts. The old inn is on a busy road and well used by locals who give it a lively atmosphere. My room overlooked the Main Street and was everything I needed.

The only slight negative is the parking, the pub car park is shared with other businesses and is always full. A free public car park is about 8mins walk away and usually has places.

"Stop 3 on our 7 day little road trip ,"

Our second stay

Not an issue but also went there a second time because of the very good on site Restaurant which is closed Mondays and Tuesday's , and I live a long way from there .day
