Location great and lovely room

Room was small but cosy. Good side bathroom and shower. Staff were very friendly and continental breakfast was adequate with plenty of options. We would definitely stay again.

Disappointed that there was no food being served during our stay after going online and checking the menu. No other places to eat within easy walking distance so had to drive to next village over. But not a massive issue.

Rooms were beautiful.

Staff were lovely, however, under great pressure. Luckily, they fitted us in for food after persuasion. Got told they ran out of various wine. Lady lady very lovely but clearly could tell she was jnder great prest as no smile. One of the staff behind the bar was coughing in her hands and serving people! The fact we went to bed as it was disgusting. Definitely wouldn't go back.
