Hope and Anchor

Location very good

Rooms not big enough very overpriced

Staff behind the bar were gret

We stayed Friday when I asked what time dinner was I was told the following Thursday, the chef was ill, no other restaurant within walking distance, no buses and no taxis, we had had a glass of wine earlier, so no driving

The location was great, the Hope and Anchor was a fabulous place to stay made to feel very welcome and joined in conversations with the locals. Room was exceptional as we're the facilities. Breakfast was great lots to choose from and someone on hand if we needed anything, would definitely return

Everything was just brilliant from arriving to departure

The new Manager was very friendly and welcoming. The meals were good value.

Paper thin walls, could hear everything simple person in the rooms. Unclean. Very uncomfy bed
