DEEin uriger Pub mit typischer Atmosphäre, leider waren 2 Biersorten aus.
Es gibt kein Essen mehr im Pub bis auf besondere Events am Fr-So. Keine kostenfreien Parkplätze für Übernachtungsgäste, öffentlicher Parkplatz hinter dem Haus frei zw. 4pm-9am. Frühstück war gut, musste am Tag vorher bestellt werden, Personal war freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Zimmer wurde teilweise renoviert (Teppich, Wandfarbe, Bett), aber die Matratzen waren sehr durchgelegen (deutliche Kuhle in der Mitte). Der Hocker und der Ventilator waren in unmöglichem Zustand, wollte man nicht drauf sitzen bzw. in Betrieb nehmen. Das Bad war sauber, aber auf den Ablagen (Holz) waren Stockflecken, Schimmel an der Decke und in der Dusche. Die Toilette war kürzlich ersetzt worden.
GBComfortable stay, really lovely rooms with excellent quality bedlinen and towels. slept really well. Pub does have music on a Friday evening (which we knew) but weren't really disturbed in the bedrooms by it even with open windows.
Pre-order breakfast is a little confusing for 2 people as you have to select the whole breakfast and delete as appropriate so no option for i one wants tomato and one doesn't.
AUBig room and a excellent cooked breakfast.
Steep stairs
HUNagyon kedves volt a személyzet, becsekkoláskor is, aztán reggel kiváló reggelit kaptunk. A szobánk is rendben volt, kávéval, teával, kekszekkel vártak minket. Nagyszerű helyen van, egyből a kikötő mellett.
Mivel a földszinten egy kocsma van, este kicsit hangos volt, de ez érthető. Viszont hajnalban a szomszéd szoba lakói hangosan, ajtókat csapkodva, a lépcsőn dobogva pakoltak ki és lehetetlen volt aludni emellett. Parkolni kissé nehéz a környéken, erről érdemes előre tájékozódni.

Poor mattress in room, very noisy due to being directly above the bar where a band were playing. Music kept us awake until 3am!

AUWe liked the vibe, a pub on the docks. Locals and staff friendly. Entertainment was good. The location was excellent fur walking the South West Coast Path. Breakfast was well prepared.
The bed was very uncomfortable, time to upgrade the bed and pillows and bedding.
GBFabulous location, very near restaurants in Newlyn, cafes and local shops. Room was lovely, soft fluffy towels, everything else you need as well. Really comfortable as well. Peaceful quiet room despite being over a busy pub. We needed an early breakfast which was given to us as requested and was delicious. Overall a brilliant stay and perfect for what we needed.
Just the stairs up to the room with heavy bags. Not the Swordfish Inn's issue, my own due to overpacking and physical issues.
