GBBreakfast was good and kitchen staff very nice.
Very noisy, not from the actual pub but from other residents from running up and down the stairs to slamming doors late in to the evening. I know it's a pub and people are drinking but surely there has to be some kind of consideration for hotel guests. Then woken at 11.45pm by a locksmith banging trying to get in to the access door to the rooms as someone had snapped a key off, so by then I'd had enough and went down to see what was going on and complain. It stopped when pub closed at midnight but a shame we had a bad experience, maybe we were just unlucky!
NZThe bedroom was much larger than expected and comfortable. Some noise from bands when live music on but was ok. Great staff and atmosphere and good selection to choose from for breakfast.

GBStaff were friendly, helpful and efficient. Isabella was a star coming in early to get us an especially early breakfast so that we could catch the right bus. Very good value.
Obviously live music in the pub below on the Friday isn't to everyone's taste -but we were tired and it didn't keep us up very much. It is a pub with a living to make...
ITTipica atmosfera di pub inglese al saboto sera. Camere al primo piano ampie e confortevoli. Un po' di rumore essendo sabato sera con musica dal vivo ma lo sapevamo e comunque gli orari sono stati rispettosamente osservati. Colazione full breakfast ottima e abbondante. Un'esperienza che rifaremmo.

Unfortunately we chose a Friday night which is one of the nights when a band plays. However they did finish reasonably early. Parking in the near vicinity is impossible but available 100m down the road at quite a cost.
