The Cross Keys, Aldeburgh

Welcoming staff; comfortable and well equipped room and bathroom; nice pub grub dinner; excellent breakfast.

Communal areas a bit tired looking.

Beautiful room and great location

Only served Adnams beer and lager. Hard pillows. Overcooked fried eggs.

Perfect location in Aldeburgh for beach, shopping, and restaurants. Nice comfy bed, great shower, and very clean rooms. We had a great beach view from the room. Staff were very friendly and chatty. Lunch food was excellent, and breakfast very good. We would definitely stay again.

Parking was a slight issue, but it was school holidays and a weekend. Therefore, i think it's only to be expected to being right in the town. Once we found a spot, it was ok, If you like to go to sleep early ( before 11), ask for a front room as the outside area is right in front of the back room but having the sea view was worth a little noise which had all finished by 11.

Great location and very friendly staff. Will definitely return in the future. Highly recommend if you want to rest and Relax.

Lack of Parking

Location a little disappointing; the photo gave the impression the Cross Keys was on the seafront, but it's set back and the views aren't great. Otherwise it was all very comfortable and friendly.

The view!

Central location, friendly staff, good water pressure & great breakfasts. Enjoyed the outdoor pub tables.

Footboard on iron double bed (uncomfortable if you are tall), squishy mattress,. dinner wasn't great (Caesar salad was terrible)

Great location close to the beach and very friendly staff. Good food and beer choices too.

Maybe a little earlier start for breakfast that 9am but to be fair on many occasions for us this would be fine.
