We had a large room with sea views. Our breakfast was delicious and staff were very welcoming.

Staff were superb, room super cute and remarkably quiet considering above s busy pub

Lovely authentic seaside pub with friendly staff and fab rooms above. Beds super comfortable, amazing shower, a great night sleep. Breakfast in the morning fab.

Menu was fairly basic pub grub. Only a couple of things on the specials board and not that special, would expect fish and chips. Food tasty but nothing special and they could do better with more fish dishes.

Very welcoming staff Lovely large, warm and comfortable rooms, plenty of hot water for baths. Quiet at night. Atmospheric bar areas with gorgeous real fires lit. Ideally situated in heart of Aldeburgh Tasty evening meal

Unfortunately there seemed to be a problem with breakfast as both mornings of our stay we waited almost an hour after our order was taken before being served at 10am. There were only 5 guests in hotel but we're told that chef only had 1 slice of brown bread available but after 5 minutes were told they'd found another 1! Items poorly cooked and some inedible or cold. This was such a shame as we'd read very complimentary reviews regarding breakfast. Maybe a temporary problem?

The room was very well appointed and the bed and bedding were very comfortable.

Breakfast was not served early enough - I was on a working visit and had to leave at just after 7am. i think breakfast started at 8am

Was very busy which exemplified how popular the place is Service and courtesy of staff could not be faulted
