The Cross Keys, Aldeburgh

Good location, the pub had a friendly atmosphere and staff. The room decor was great, fabulous shower & first rate breakfast.

The heating system was noisy which disturbed my sleep.

We had a fantastic stay here. The room was charming and beautifully presented, with a lovely, cosy feel. The shower deserves a special mention, it was incredibly powerful and refreshing. The bed was very comfortable, and we slept really well. Breakfast was delicious, and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate my dietary needs. They were all so warm, friendly, and welcoming throughout our stay. I would highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again.

No dislikes!

The room was very comfortable; clean and well appointed. It even had a sea view. The staff were excellent; very welcoming and attentive. We thought it might be noisy from the bar below, but when it came to sleeping the noise quietened down. Tea/coffees/ biscuits were provided in the room. Free parking in the road outside was a bonus.

No ordinary (blended) whisky served in the bar.....a first for us. Dinner was a bit of a disappointment - maybe down to me due to a recent medical condition, but there was nothing that appealed to me on the menu - I'd have like just plain and simple fish & chips. My wife had the fish pie which was good but not exceptional - the veggies had to be sent back to be re-heated. Breakfast was good, but a bit overcooked.

Friendly, helpful staff. Good location. Good food.
