Trop éloigné du centre (2.5 km de routes de montagne) véhicule indispensable La chambre est au ras de la route principale et très empruntée très difficile de dormir la nuit avec le passage des camions... Douche avec un filet d eau chaude Malgré la gentillesse des propriétaires j e ne conseille pas le logement qui n' est pas adapté pour recevoir des touristes E prix est trop élevé

The room is very nice and super clean. The view from the balcony is beautiful, and having breakfast there with the morning sun is spectacular. The owner is lovely and very kind, and they prepare a delicious Sri Lankan breakfast. I would definitely come back here.

It is a charming wooden cabin on the side of the road that goes towards Ella, and it is owned by a very kind, warm, hospitable family who makes sure you feel comfortable. The rooms are very basic so don’t expect luxury here, but you will surely get an amazing view of the hills and river from the balcony. You will have to take a tuktuk or rent a bike to reach the main town of Ella, which is about a 5-6 minutes ride away.

Since it is on the side of the road, it might feel a little noisy during the day - but it was fine for us since we were mostly out during the daytime and at night it was quiet.

Rodina co tento pokojík provozuje je velmi mila. Snidane jsou tradicni ale velmi levne a chutne. Necekejte luxus. Pař mravenců v koupelne jeste nikoho nezabilo

Einfach eingerichtete Unterkunft. Sehr freundliche Gastgeber. In der Nähe ist ein Restaurant.

Kein warmes Wasser vorhanden. Sehr laut weil direkt an einer Straße.

We werden vriendelijk ontvangen door een oudere man bij aankomst. Helaas sloeg onze positieve eerste indruk snel om toen we de kamer binnenstapten. We stonden zeker tien minuten verbaasd om ons heen te kijken vanwege de viezigheid en de vele insecten in de kamer en badkamer. We snappen dat de accommodatie niet duur is en hebben absoluut geen probleem met eenvoudig of niet-luxe verblijven, maar een beetje schoonmaak mag je wel verwachten. Overal lagen mieren, vooral rondom de spiegel en wastafel. De douche bestond uit slechts enkele druppels water, het bed leek niet schoon te zijn gemaakt: het zat vol vlekken en terwijl we erin lagen, zagen we allemaal kleine beestjes rondlopen. Daarnaast stonken de handdoeken ontzettend, waardoor we ze niet eens wilden gebruiken. We hebben direct onze spullen gepakt en zijn vertrokken. Ik begrijp eerlijk gezegd niets van de vele goede reviews die hier staan. Zoek je een héél goedkope accommodatie midden in de natuur en vind je viezigheid en insecten in je kamer en bed niet erg, dan is dit misschien een prima plek. Voor ons was het helaas een nare en oncomfortabele ervaring.

The beds were the comfiest we've had during our month in Sri Lanka! The view from our balcony was beautiful and lovely to wake up to. Delicious breakfasts for a great price (especially compared breakfast in the city centre!) Despite a lot of complaints about the shower pressure, we got used to it very quickly and it didn't really affect our stay. The sound of the road wasnt a problem at all for us. Im a light sleeper but the cars/buses were just mild background noise. This place is great if youre on a budget and arnt too fussy. We enjoyed our stay here for 4 nights

The location really isn’t convenient because you rely on the hosts son for a tuk tuk into the city centre. Pick Me doesnt work in Ella which was inconvenient. The family are lovely but when i sent multiple messages, no one got back to me. This may be due to the language barrier, but they are very smiley and kind. The bathoom wasnt very clean on our arrival. Gecko droppings everywhere, and the bathroom was dirty.
