The only thing I liked was the water refills and the beautiful park 5 minutes away. Only stayed one night

Aircon set at 18 degrees and can't turn it up. Was really cold all night. Bathroom so small and shower mounted so low literally have to sit on toilet to shower. Can hear everything from next door rooms and reception. Curtain so flimsy bright street lights shine on bed. A bad night

Customer service excellent. The lady on counter was very helpful.

Air conditioner was not working at first but when I told them they sorted out within an hour.

The location was pretty good, with several restaurants and a convenience store in the neighbouring two streets, and more in town a short walk away. Also, it's only a short walk from the water's edge (and some very nice views across the bay). The room had a bathroom, air conditioning, and four openable windows (with curtains for privacy as well), although it was a little small. There was also filtered water in the common area, and the staff were helpful in outlining the tours and activities available on the island.

Check in is a bit difficult if you don't have a local SIM card or international roaming activated. When I arrived, the door was locked and there was a sign with four employees' phone numbers on it; I called the first number on the list, and a few minutes later a man arrived on a motorbike and let me in. Once he arrived things went quite well, but I feel like it's worth knowing that you will likely need local phone service to check in. Also, all the rooms are upstairs and there is no lift/elevator (not an issue for me, but worth knowing if you have mobility issues).
