La habitación era cómoda y el baño muy grande y cómodo . Nos dejaron té y café de cortesía . La ubicación muy cerca de la estación de tren y de la parte histórica . El personal muy agradable.

No breakfast. Reception shut at 8pm as bank holiday. Could not control temperature of shower. No plug in basin.

My partner and I needed a place to stay for a few nights as we were attending a wedding in York City centre. The Bay Horse was in the perfect location, walking distance to town with lots of pubs, restaurants and shops nearby. The room was a great price, comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. The staff were really lovely and friendly, and we particularly loved Midget, the super cute little dog who greeted us and walked along to our room with us. Overall, a wonderful stay and we would gladly come back.

The room was very spacious, with a big bathtub and comfy seating by the window The bed was a great size and very comfortable Whole property was easy to access, clean and close to the town and train station Staff were very friendly polite and helpful

Location was great - very close to the city centre and all the sights of York. Right across from the Everyman Cinema which was also nice.

Would have scored higher but there was a quiz in the pub on the night I stayed and very loud until about 11.30. It's an old pub so noise will travel and clearly everyone was enjoying the quiz but if you want an early night might be good to check if anything going on in the pub beforehand.

Close proximity to the city centre

The pub allows vaping even though they serve food, some of the staff were vaping at the bar, I had my meals at weather spoons were vaping is not allowed
