there is slight street noise, but not bad, and to be expected

Great place to stay with fantastic staff who go over and above to ensure you have a great stay. Great location only 5 minutes walk from the station and centrally located.The rooms are spacious, clean and nicely decorated and the bed was very comfortable. Great value for money. Don't be put off by it being above a pub as it's not open late and there was no late night noise to disturb stay.

Very close to the city centre and train station

If you are travelling with heavy luggage and are alone, do not go. The stairs are steep and no one is willing to help you.

Staff very welcoming and room clean.

No decaf coffee in room and although information said pub was open until 10pm, the music quiz went on until after 11pm and was very loud. It was impossible to watch tv or sleep. I would expect it until 10pm but not fare on room guests.
