Fantastic location what a lovely old pub in a prime spot Cameron and is sister where no1 hosts and on my list to go back and the breakfast and evening meal was lovely thanks again for a great stop

The road up to the pub was not good but that’s not the pub’s fault

The reception we recently on trying to say we had arrived. Very busy and bar person too busy to give us a warm welcome No front of house person

Beautiful 13th century pub. Friendly staff; excellent food

The walls were very thin- you could hear people next door talking in a normal voice

Lovely little pub, especially the bar area. Nice staff, clean & great food (we had breakfast the next day). A taxi ride from the wedding we were going to (Wheatsheaf Farm).

We always have an amazing stay from the comfort of the rooms, the amazing food and the exceptional staff, we have never had a bad stay as we come each year for our anniversary and this year if we could give it 100/10 we would. Thank you to each of the staff who made it that little bit more fantastic.

We stayed in room Mallard beautifully decorated and exceptionally clean. I would stay here again and stay at the pub for the evening the full English breakfast was huge and exceptionally clean they also offer fruit juice cereals etc on breakfast menu. Efficient check in and really friendly people.

The road to strawberry duck is a one car lane in places which is fine, however we were attending a wedding and getting taxi [uber) to pickup and bring us back from a nearby location was a problem and took us a while.

Great value for money, staff very pleasant and helpful.
