Het uitzicht was mooi maar wel ver weg van een stadje

Ligging was verder dan we dachten

The staff and the fact that this is a community run pub. Well done to everyone involved with trying to keep the village pub going, and offering overnight stays.

A bit dusty but I understand that volunteers can only do so much.

Excellent little pub in a quiet village, perfect for a 1 night break as we were meeting friends and continuing a drive with them the next day

breakfast option would have been good but there was some food / drink in the room

"Great comfortable room with facilities more like a studio apartment"

9.0

Lovely room with small kitchen area and sofa which were a bonus. Being a community run pub there was a lovely atmosphere and we were able to have a nice meal.

Only slight negative was a little bit of noise from heating pipes but I’m a very light sleeper. It certainly wouldn’t stop us staying again.

"Acceptable and comfortable enough."

5.0

Comfortable enough but a small room. Remote location but accepts single night bookings which, with limited alternatives, some others in the area do not).

Staff were so busy in the pub they took a few minutes to find someone to show us to the room. No breakfast available but fortunately had food with us after a week self-catering elsewhere.

"Good"

5.0

Room was fairly big, en suite and had a fridge and seating and a good view of the church opposite.

Bed was very uncomfortable, needs a new mattress. There was nothing in the fridge except 2 small cartons of orange juice, no fresh milk. The accommodation information stated there was a continental breakfast provided but this was just 4 small plastic wrapped croissants that went soggy when warmed up in the microwave. Not very substantial for walkers on the Offa's Dyke trail.
