"Excellent hetel for catching the ferry."

Perfect location for the ferry to Orkney. Early breakfast. Good beer. Excellent staff. Nice walk up to the lighthouse.

"Fantastic bed,good shower, and lovely meal next door."

The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. The restaurant next had lovely food,and views, we were watching seals in the harbour while we were eating. Also the staff were lovely, extremely helpful and friendly.

Hair dryer could do with an upgrade, takes ages to dry hair. Room could do with a bit of touching up on decor, and carpet.

"Close to the ferry!"

Location was excellent! Two minutes to the check in for the NorthLink Ferry. It is not posh, but clean and serviceable. The food at the onsite restaurant was good.

Convenient location for the ferry. Evening meal was good. Friendly staff.

Vegetarian breakfast was disappointing - served spicy veg burger from last night's dinner menu. Breakfast wasn't early or quick enough for the morning ferry and we had to run to check in in time. Room 7 bathroom extractor fan wasn't working and paint peeling off ceiling from damp.

Comfortable, with everything we needed. We ate in the restaurant in the evening and for breakfast and both were extremely enjoyable and well prepared.
