Generally good location nearby to the train station

Unclean, shared facilities are old, struggled to get in and out of the building, virtually a hostel

The breakfast was superb

A bit dark in the bedroom, lights not quite bright enough

Super friendly staff and nice chill location.

Taxi drop off for the student building was a little loud on the weekend, but nothing to do with the property.

I can't say anything about the rooms

After making the booking we received a message from the hotel that there will be music playing till late in the bar downstairs. This this was not mentioned at the moment of making the booking. We wanted to cancel the booking. I tried calling the hotel 10 times, I requested cancellation via mail and through the booking platform, I even went to the bar/hotel to see if i could talk to anyone, but it was closed. The hotel did not respond to any of my messages and they didn't pick up the phone. The booking was not cancelled, I paid >100 euro's for a night that i didn't spend there. That is bad service.

Le personnel a été particulièrement attentif à nos besoins et très chaleureux. Nous savions que nous avions notre chambre au dessus d'un bar mais il ferme à 23h. C'est un bar très sympa. Les sanitaires sont séparés de la chambre mais ils sont nickel. La chambre était spacieuse. Excellent rapport qualité prix. Nous y avons été sans problème à pieds depuis la gare.

At first sight, the surroundings and exterior of The Fox put us off. A sign said "Closed" and there was no indication how to check in. Once inside we were happy!
