Lovely location, room clean and comfortable Lovely restaurant very good food

Slight issue with the shower, rainfall head didn’t seem to work and head of the other shower head needs cleaning

"Birthday weekend"

When we saw where we were staying, we loved the location, our room was amazing and very cozy

Unfortunately for me, the bed was too soft for my aching limbs, not the hotels fault, just my body, but everything was perfect otherwise

"A beautiful and relaxing retreat beside the river in the heart of the Cotswolds"

The room was very comfortable and very clean. The location was excellent, so pretty and relaxing and perfectly placed for our mini tour of the Cotswolds. The bottles of water in the room were appreciated.

There wasn't anything we 'didn't like'. However, a suggestion - the shower was a little small - space in the bathroom could be utilised better. Shelving in the bathroom would be useful as there was very little space to put toiletries. The staff were so friendly and welcoming and made our stay exceptionally nice. The food in the restaurant was fabulous.

"A really enjoyable short break in the wonderful Cotswolds."

Location is very good for exploring the surrounding area by car or just walking locally.

I had booked the property in a rush and didn’t realise the included breakfast was only a continental style. A full English was chargeable at £17:50 per person so my own fault but in all my 67 years it was a first in any British inn where breakfast was included. Also the local ale was not very well kept. Our room was in an attic space that would get uncomfortably hot in summer months and the balcony seating area was out of order.

Cleanliness

Quite noisey from the pub below, squeaky floor boards above and plumbing. Also we had Sunday lunch and the potatoes were awful

Location was amazing. Very quiet and wonderful scenery. Staff were lovely

Quite tired and shabby in the bedrooms. Breakfast was supposed to be included but turned out it was only a continental breakfast and if you wanted a full English it was £17.50 a person extra which was outrageous. So we had a few things from the continental breakfast then went to Jeremy Clarkson’s farm shop to have a bacon / sausage bap at a much lesser price per head.
