Very clean and well maintained property in a very popular area. The kitchen is small but manageable. Their is a Walmart down the boulevard about 1click away. Your in the middle of everything. Shops. Restaurants. Museum.

Excellent location at the foot of a very nice boulevard. Neighborhood felt very safe. Furniture seemed new or recently made/bought.

The city has a music and dance event on Saturdays in the evening. It is loud and may bother guests who want to go to bed early. However, it is not the property owners fault. There is also a bicycle event on Sundays in the mid-morning. That can be loud too. Paying did not go as smooth as expected; however, I think they were using a new payment system so they were still getting used to it.

Great hostel owned by a very friendly local family. You can see how the family takes a good care of the place as it’s very clean. The mattress is firm and the pillow was the most comfortable I have had within 4 months of my traveling! The location is also great, it’s right in the middle and you can easily walk to all the sightseeings. Also, it’s about 15min walk to the ADO bus station which is a plus. I definitely recommend this place, it’s a great value for what it’s cost!

There should try to have desks in private rooms for people who have work and/or write a lot.

This place was an unexpected surprise! I had other reservations in Playa Progresso that turned out to be absolutely horrible… so on a whim I told myself to just stay in Merida instead. This place turned out to be one of the highlights of my entire trip! I was greeted with absolute kindness and care after having a rough stay the previous night elsewhere. Check in was smooth and easy. I was able to check in early which was a god send. The property itself was easy to find, located just outside the major hustle and bustle. But it was still close enough to everything that it was all reasonably walkable. 20 minutes max gets you all the way to the bus station. Plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby. Notably, a small coffee cafe up the street as well as Manik Bal- an authentic tamale experience found in the evening only blocks away giving a whole new meaning to Mexican street food! Do yourself a favor and find him! The property and my room was comfortable and quiet and very very clean. I booked a four person private room over booking a dorm just for myself as I was looking for relaxation and privacy. I got it all! I was put in the most adorable room with a lofted bed with rails, convertible sofa and chair (beds), tiny fridge, cook top, basic kitchen wares, private bathroom with hot shower, wifi, tv and french doored, curtained window with a perfect little view of the street below. There was a comfortable lounge area with shared kitchen and clean bathrooms for those staying in the dorms. Nil, the host was amazing. She was super friendly and attentive and always available for a chat. Entrance to the property was with a coded lock, entry to the room with a key. I felt safe and comfortable and taken care of. I am ecstatic that the previous stay sucked so that I found this little gem!! I would stay here again without hesitation. Highly recommend. And I have to many of my friends!

Nice and lovely place, you can find a place with local food in 5-minutes walk. Really helpful personnel, good wifi connection.

Complete facilities inside the room and it's airconditioned. It has a small stove for simple cooking but I didn't use it because I only stayed a few days. The host was very friendly and helpful.

It's a little bit difficult to find at first especially that there's no sign on the door
