Nido Colibrí - Private Rooms and hostel Dorms in Remate de Paseo Montejo

As a traveller, I usually rely on the hostels' shampoo and other liquid products which I cannot carry through flights. This place had a limited amount of these things offered to the guests.

Everything was really great, clean ! The owner is a really kind person who is always there to help you. It was great to talk with here and exchanged informations.

This is a newer hostel so everything is pretty new. Beds were great and I felt very comfortable here. Once you are at the hostal it is nearby other things. One of the rooms has Aircon and it works well!

It is a far walk from the ADO bus station. If you are okay with walking it should be okay. The staff was nice at times but didnt do much. Hospitality isnt really there but they do what they need. Kitchen thingy has a lot of things you cannot use. Not really a luggage storage.

My stay here was awesome!!Nad was such a sweet person the place is super clean and the staff was great. Location is great, just in the Montejo ave so it makes it very convenient to walk around. I would definitely book it again when I'm back. Kudos to employee #3 he did everything possible to make me feel comfortable and happy with my stay. Coffee is always ready in the morning from 7-9.

Perfect location between Paseo de Montejo and Zócalo, nice and helpful people.

Room a bit noisy because next to the street.

Merida is quite a big town, so having your "nest" in such a central spot, at the beginning of Paseo de Montejo is really welcome when it's very hot. Everything is walking distance from it. The hostel is and feels new, so it's clean and neat. Showers are divided women/men, quite spacious and clean. The manager is efficient and friendly.

The common areas are quite cramped, reception, living room and kitchen are all together. That can be a good thing to socialize or it can be awkward. Depends on the people. Water pressure is not great. I would recommend to add some sign about which tap is hot and which is cold (to avoid any confusion and save water).
