Food is wonderful

Had some loud people in the next room

Location was what we were exactly looking for to be close to town centre. Good parking. Good bar area and well priced drinks.

The hotel area including the rooms had recently been gloss painted so the paint fumes were over whelmingly bad, the size of the room was far too small to be a double accommodation, it stated that the room was soundproofed this was totally a misleading advert as the property is right next to a train track which you could clearly hear every single train that passed on going right through the night to the point that when the trains passed at high speed it shook the building so excessively I thought the tv was going to fall off the wall. Also you could clearly hear the guest’s talking and doing what ever they were to the early hours of the morning in the room next door! Clearly totally not soundproofed I felt that there was no partitioning wall between us!

The train line at the side is very busy in the night 😔.
