SPITTAL BROOK

The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, plenty of towels provided. All staff friendly and helpful. The room was warm. Good in the pub was good.

The twin room was about 20 meters from a very busy railway line, the noise was horrendous and the whole room shakes, it continued until 11 pm and started at 5am, you could also hear music in the pub and the rooms just above the kitchen which is very noisy. The bathroom was freezing with no heating. There was no sugar in the room. There is porridge pots offered for breakfast by no spoons to eat it with except the one tiny teaspoon for the tea, so we had to share.

Conveniently located for visiting my friends.

Although i was aware in advance, the absence of breakfast was a negative aspect. Major roadworks nearby have been longstanding and restrict available routes around Stafford.

The pub was nice. Staff friendly.

If you know you're not going to be as light as a feather walking around upstairs or even whispering, I would not book this place. Walls are paper thin, and you hear everything. You will disburd everyone. Train track outside is loud, too.

We didn't stop for breakfast had to leave early. We were going to the Staffordshire showground so brilliant location for that. The food served was excellent for our evening meal We had a blue burger which was hand made! We loved it here so much we are going back for a weekend break in the near future!

Nothing it was perfect for us.

Not our first stay here. With good basic accommodation and no breakfast other than oat pots if you want them it's perfect for us as exhibitors getting to Stafford Showground before car movement stops. The bar has a well stocked and well kept cellar. Never eaten here but it is very popular.

Room was really comfortable and clean with everything we needed and staff so welcoming and same for locals and food was absolutely stunning and reasonably priced same with the pints
