Lovely location.

Room adequate, no frills. Bed mattress too hard but may suit others. Shower/toilet lacked space.

"Comfortable night and lovely setting."

7.0

Lovely setting with a great beer garden next to a river. I imagine it's equally lovely in the winter months as it was very cosy inside. The bedroom and bathroom were spotlessly clean. Comfy bed and bedding.

We would have liked to have had dinner onsite as the menu looked great, however the service times were in excess of an hour.

The location is ideal for visiting surrounding coastal towns and villages. It even has a rail connection via the West Somerset Steam Railway. The staff are incredibly friendly and really make you feel welcome.

The public house is very popular with local people. It has a lively well behaved atmosphere, which I personally enjoyed, but if you're looking for a sleepy village inn where nothing ever happens, this won't be for you, especially in good weather as there is lots of outside seating.
