"Lovely place with lovely staff. Great for a short break"

It's a very old building and nit catering for the 'luxury' market but the room was warm, comfortable and really clean. The towels and bedding were white which is very unforgiving in terms of cleanliness but everything was spotless . There was Bodywash, handwash, shampoo and body lotiion provided along with a kettle a generous supply of tea, coffee, milk etc., and a TV I was at a wedding and visiting family in the area do didn't actually eat at The White Horse but everyone who asked where I was staying made the comnent ' ooh the food's lovely there' I would definitely recommend for a few night's stay .

The little step on the threshold of the room which I managed to trip over twice when carrying bags in and out of room.
