USLocation was great. View from room was great. Breakfast was good and varied. Bed was comfortable. Water pressure adequate. Amenities good. Towel warmer a nice touch. Hotel common areas very attractively decorated. Very nice and responsive manager.
There was no heat in the room. The room radiator was cold to the touch but the breakfast room was warm, and the towel warmer was hot. The first night, the staff was responsive and restored a modicum of heat. But the second night, upon asking them to again restore the heat, staff said (and I quote) that "the city prohibits them from turning the heat on", the hotel was "full with no other room available", and "it is summer so there is no need for heat." The temperature reached the actual freezing point that night. The staff on duty refused to put us in contact with their manager. We used heated towels to keep warm. The manager apologized profusely the next day and said she had been told and had instructed for us to be moved. That wasn't offered to us (staff doesn't like to clean two rooms for one guest - understandable, but...) Manager comped the parking, which was nice, and while not really fully compensatory, we recognized the effort and accepted. This was the only drawback to the hotel, but it was a "biggie."

we arrived late at the evening and leave in the morning, requested to pay for the hotel parking, while on the streets nearby the parking is free from the evening until 8 AM
GBVery friendly staff, quirky inner patio. Very understanding and when we wanted our breakfast half an hour earlier it was not a problem. Thank you.
poor internet (virtually no internet in my room). And very low water pressure in the tap in room 301. shower pressure was good.
