Small hotel with charming atmosphere

Carpet floor in the room, absence of toiletry

A very good location but a little noisy early in the morning and late at night. Very close to tourist attractions (electric trams with guides) and several restaurants, including the one on-site. A convenient parking spot is provided for an extra fee. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

The building is very old (16th century), obviously well-restored but there are quirks like a step in the middle of the room and no air conditioning (a standing fan is provided). The elevator was broken, and the stairs very steep so we had to downgrade our room to a much smaller one on a lower floor. The twin beds were on the narrower side and mine had a spill that soaked through the bed pad. It was OK for two nights but not much longer. It seems that they assume no daily services unless specifically requested. No coffee maker, just a kettle with soluble coffee sachets and tea. The shower stall had only an all-in-one shampoo/body gel dispenser, so bring your hair conditioner with you. We had to open our suitcases on a desk and on a round stool, which would be quite inconvenient for a longer stay. The elevator was still not functional after two days and we received no warnings ahead of our stay.

A wonderful historical building with a great restaurant and few rooms for rent. The room was spacious with a separate toilet and bathroom. The location is just next to the old town square, but also close to a parking, great for people travelling by car. The breakfast was ver good.

The room door was barely closing. There were no bedside cabinets / electricity outlets next to the bed.
