BEStylish boutique hotel located in a historical building on the main square of Zamość in front of the city hall. Very good and varied breakfast. There is also a nice restaurant serving contemporary polish cuisine.

Overall horrific experience. It started already badly when they gave me a room at ground floor with no climatization. If you opened the windows, it would have been easy for everybody on the street to enter the room. In my opinion it is a no go to give such a room to a women staying there alone without prior warning. So I switched rooms with my elderly parents, for whom I had booked a bigger room at a higher floor. In that room which was below the roof there was a tiny step in the middle of the room, but in the hotel they didn’t care to make it visible in any way. I stay often in old hotels, so I know that the floor might not be even in such hotels. But wherever I have stayed so far, the hotel tried to make the level difference visible to the guest, let it be using different carpets, using strips, moulding or different colour of the ground. Here nothing. A patterned carpet that runs across the whole rooms makes this step hardly visible. As the room didn’t have climatization with it being below the roof when it was hot of course there was no other choice then to open the windows. When turning back from the window I slipped on the little stair and broke my big toe. Adding that the pictures on booking.com present the rooms much better then they actually are. Towels in the bathroom were of a quality you would not even expect in a welfare institution this for homeless people. They’d been totally worn out. The lift also was scary, as it “suttered” between 1st and 2nd floor.
