Room really lovely, clean and staff welcoming.

Room and staff where lovely, tea and coffee in room a little disappointing, breakfast was continental which was fine it could do with extra touches like a bread basket rather than a loaf of bread in a bag.

Prachtige middeleeuwse herberg, een zeer bijzondere en unieke ervaring om hier te verblijven! Eeuwen oud gebouw, veel nostalgie en grandeur. Fijn en sympathiek personeel, heerlijke pub, lekkere gerechten en een fijne, gezellige sfeer. De herberg ligt in een schitterend, overwegend middeleeuws dorpje: geweldig om hier doorheen te lopen tijdens je verblijf.

Niets viel tegen, het was geweldig!

Location perfect … next to the wonderful village delicatessen and a beautiful quaint coffee shop, the singing kettle staff a delight. The owner of the inn was absolutely lovely, ready to answer any questions. A traditional medieval pub with a handful of perfect rooms in the heart of a stunning happy village

Absolutely nothing and if anyone has a bad word to say they must be totally bonkers!

The location was great

It was cold, the breakfast was poor quality and a limited selection - plastic sheet under sheet, towels smelt funny , no parking. Dodgy shower. My room had a doorway to the bar and it was very very noisy until about 10.30

The room was quaint

The shower was awful - the water didn't run very well and it was either scalding hot or freezing cold. The bathroom/shower room was tiny, it was fine but it's very small and difficult to move around in there. The pub closed at 5pm so we had to go out for dinner and to have a drink. The staff were very loud talking in the bar in the morning which woke us up, it felt like they were trying to get us up. Some of the staff weren't particularly friendly. It felt like us being there was a nuisance.

Lovely old pub which provided a good pub dinner and a simple breakfast of cereal and toast. Perfectly positioned on the high street

We were asked to move out of the bar at 10pm as they were closing up and told that there was a lounge upstairs. The only lounge we found was a seating area on the landing, right outside others' rooms so we couldn't really sit and talk there.
