The shower could do with being replaced as did not work at all really.

I liked most aspects of the accomodation apart from the execrable breakfast.

The breakfast was terrible. Fortunately, there was an espresso machine in my room so I could , at least, make a decent cup of coffee. I thought coffee bags went out with the 1980s!.

Lovely old Inn, very welcoming. Small but very pretty beer garden, lovely conservatory. Room was large with plenty of storage. Bed was so comfortable.

Charming & quirky

The room was clean and comfortable with a large bathroom although if you are a larger person, I think you’d have trouble getting into the shower. The stairs are very steep, obviously being an old building and I think you need to remember that so enjoy the experience of being in somewhere that is very old and quirky.

The things I didn’t like about the property is that the towels are very hard and very scratchy please stick them in the tumble dryer that would soon fluff them up. Nice garden area, but obviously needs to be tidied and made a bit more presentable, breakfast was just help yourself. Choice was okay cornflakes. fruit however having watered down orange juice was really not good.

The room was cute and comfortable, we liked having a TV, we had a simple burger for dinner but it was well made, breakfast was fine, and of course the town is lovely.
