I had a wonderful stay at this lovely hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. Check-in was smooth and hassle-free, which was a great start to the experience. The room itself was beautifully designed—very stylish with thoughtful details—and I especially loved the touches of pink throughout, which gave it a unique and cozy charm.

The only downside during my stay was the shower, which lacked power. After a long day of hiking, it would have been great to enjoy a strong, refreshing shower to properly unwind. Improving the water pressure would definitely enhance the overall experience.

Would have loved to stay longer, we only had one night. Lovely place to stay, people are so friendly and helpful. Good home cooked food too.

We were welcomed in a very friendly manner by a lovely young lady, sorry I didn't get her name. The twin room was snug but very comfortable and had everything we needed, including a kettle and coffee maker. After a rest on our beds we went down for a delicious dinner by the fire. Breakfast was laid out in the morning, a great selection including tea or coffee bags, cereal, toast, pastries and fruit. We left very happy and full to continue our walk to Eastbourne. Highly recommended, thanks for a great stay :)

Welcoming, friendly and accommodating owners

Just a suggestion of perhaps some comfier seating in the bar, like a sofa or couple of armchairs perhaps?

Simple without variety of choice. No non-dairy milks which were requested. Lack of choice teas and coffees.

Rooms were furnished with mixture of old and tired furniture. All rooms need to be reorganised and bathrooms better equipped.

I stayed one night and the bedroom was very clean and modern situated in a very old and interesting building. The person who showed me to the room was very pleasant and welcoming, and the self-serve breakfast was enjoyable.

Very nice place to stay in, the rooms are very good, but also great inn to enjoy the Pub both for drinks and food. The food was amazing, great quality and authentic.
