"Prima plek om te overnachten na en voor hike op de south down way."

De stijl: echt authentiek hotel

Doordat het authentiek is, is het natuurlijk ook oud. Maar niet storend.

"Brilliant!"

We needed an early getaway so couldn't stay for breakfast. However the breakfasts on offer were very appealing and if we ever ventured as far as Alfriston again we would definitely book ourselves into the Smugglers! Thankyou!

"Everything you might want from a stay in a 700 year old public house."

I stayed in a quirky little room is a quirky, very old inn, an experience with the journey. We dined at the pub, clearly the most popular in town, and enjoyed a meal that was somewhere between classical and innovative pub food.

Great location, clean and friendly staff

A little more thought could be given to the breakfasts such as natural yoghurt and berries.
