Ye Olde Smugglers Inne

The Smugglers Inn is a pub and rooms full of character in the centre of Alfriston. We had a comfortable, quiet room and enjoyed the evening meal. The room and facilities were very clean and staff very friendly. Interesting decor in the downstairs bar and a historic quirky building.

Gezellige Inn in historisch stadje. Heerlijke tuin, goed restaurant.

Perfect location, welcoming and comfortable. Lovely room.

Dinner was delicious and catered to our two children. The room was very clean and provided everything we needed with a lovely view. Breakfast was lovely too, just what we needed before our journey the next day.

It would have been good to have had a cooked breakfast option, although I understand why that was not possible. It would have been useful to have more information about parking before arriving as we had never been there before.

It was old and interesting

The bedroom was on a slope and the stairs were very difficult for old people to access

Everything was great…A/C would be nice but we hit a rare heat wave, no fault of the hotel.
