Accommodation needs some much needed TLC. Carpets badly stained. Overall room needs some attention

Ideally situated in the centre of Ashbourne and very friendly and helpful staff. I did not eat at the hotel as I was attending a family function

The only thing that let the room down was that the bathroom needed a bit of sprucing up, however it was clean.

Noise, you can hear people walk by, open close doors, chatting in their rooms (and whatever else). From this element I wouldn't stay again

The George and Dragon is superbly located in the town. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable enough.

The room was desperately in need of a coat of paint, there was no headboard on the bed, no mirror in the bathroom (though the screws were still there from the previous one) and the toilet not fixed to the floor. The drastic slope of the floor made it feel like you were on a boat, which was not a nice angle to sleep in, but that is just the age of the property and I assume cannot be helped. We had dinner in the pub, each meal was almost £20 and it was not very nice. It wouldn't be my first choice in Ashbourne again, sorry.
