Great location, lovely village setting - typical quant village pub. Friendly staff, good beer 😊 and the food looked amazing, very popular eating place by the looks of it. Room was basic but clean & comfortable.

The rooms are directly above the bar which would be ok in itself IF the bar staff and local friends didn’t spend until 1:00 am in the morning talking & joking keeping paying guests awake and unable to sleep. I’m sure this isn’t an everyday occurrence and maybe they not aware of just how much their noise is affecting others - so only some five hours sleep before up again - not ideal and spoilt what would have been a great stay.

Parking was limited outside but not a problem as car park available over the road by swimming pool.

Very welcoming and friendly, nothing too much trouble, the food was excellent!

Lovely hotel in good rural location while being close enough to main roads

For my personal preference bed was a little soft, and much prefer shower over bath however these as I say are personal preferences

Quirky room. Very comfortable bed and large room. Had evening meal in garden. breakfast was freshly prepared and huge portions. Thanks
