Next to San Diego Downtown - Cali King Size Studio

Centrally located which made it easy to walk to Downtown/Gaslamp, Little Italy, the Zoo, Museums etc in Balboa Park. Room had everything I needed, was quiet, clean, nice shower and plenty of space. Wifi worked very well. CVS was less than a block away for little items/snacks drinks that I needed throughout the weekend. Staff was very responsive to messages and was also very accommodating.

Property was quite great and spacious. The reception was extremely helpful and nice.

The property is really noisy as people comes and goes in all different times, 1am, 2am, 3am and as there is no isolation, it is really noisy, so you pretty much can't sleep without earplugs but if you are not bothered by it then you will be fine. Quite a lot of homeless people around so if you don't mind all of that, the property is great.

THERE WAS A BARKING DOG IN THE NEXT ROOM....BARKED INTO THE NIGHT....AND EARLY MORNING... maybe i'm unlucky....but...it was terrible

So much about this stay was great! I arrived outside of office hours, but the manager made it a point to be there for my arrival all the same. The room was lovely, spacious, and very clean. The bed was also incredibly comfortable. Supplying additional amenities (towels, soaps, toothbrush and paste, coffee, tea) was very considerate. Plus it's right by Balboa park, like not even a 10 minute walk, which is lovely!

This wasn't an issue for my stay generally speaking, but the first night I arrived, the guy(s?) across the hall from me were very, very loud and quite belligerent late into the night. Luckily, the location leaves multiple sets of earplugs in your room! Anyway, they were gone the next day, so it ceased to be an issue.

Location is good.

Some of the pillows weren't clean, I got them replaced.

This was a beautiful studio. It was clean and configurable. It was nicely decorated. It was close to downtown. I would definitely return.

There were only 2 floors, but there was no elevator. The staff were more than willing to help me. It is close to the airport, and planes fly over. They provided ear plugs. I did not need them. I slept quite well.
