Next to San Diego Downtown - Cali King Size Studio

Unit was clean and seemed safe. I had to enter security codes to enter the gate of the building, the floor my unit was on, and for the unit itself.

The property was about 20 minutes walk from the many bars and restaurants in the renowned Gaslamp Quarter. The studio was very clean and fairly spacious and the amenities were of a good standard. Across the road is the beautiful Balboa Park, ideal for anyone with young children. There is some free parking space outside the property as well as across the street and should you need to, you can secure your vehicle in the basement of the complex for a reasonable daily rate. Parking needs to be considered before choosing a hotel closer to the many attractions and this was the main reason for choosing this hotel. You simply won’t get anything free within the Gaslamp area.

There was nothing to dislike about this property, but just to make people aware of its proximity to all the attractions. This is a major and indeed beautiful US city so don’t expect everything on your doorstep.

-- Great location: it's right across from the Balboa Park. -- Easy to find free street parking right outside the property. -- Smooth communication with the owner/staff: clear instruction for check-in/out was sent in advance, and they responded to message very quickly. -- Great staff and prompt service: we sent a message regarding 2 minor problems after checking in. Since we arrived on a Saturday afternoon, we really didn't expect quick response. But within 5 minutes, a gentleman showed up and quickly fixed the problems. Very courteous and professional staff.

Super easy check in process, not far from downtown at all, makes getting to and from places so much easier. Super friendly staff. Free street parking nearby

Pillows are very stiff but aside from that everything was nice.
