Brilliant stay overall - Location is perfect for exploring the Peaks. The staff were so friendly and made me and my little boy feel so welcome. Easy parking outside. The breakfast in the morning was great and good value. The room was very spacious, with a lovely balcony overlooking the nearby hills. Clean facilities provided with everything we needed. The bed was also very spacious and we had a great comfortable nights' sleep. Value for money is excellent for this accommodation. Thank you and I will definitely re-book when I am next exploring the Peaks!

The only thing is no soap in the bathroom to wash hands. Other than that we would definitely stay again!

The room was clean, spacious and well equipped. It was in a great location, lots of hiking nearby. The breakfast was great and the owner was very friendly and attentive.

The only downside to an otherwise perfect stay was that the bedroom walls were a bit thin. I got woken up by someone else’s alarm on the first day. However, I slept great on our second night. Just something to be aware of if you are a light sleeper.

Clean, very friendly staff, excellent food, and the offered to let us use their laundry. In addition, they changed the sheets and towels halfway through our stay, hung our wet clothes on the line and folded them while we were out.

The beautiful setting, the peaceful yet modern room. The friendly hosts, the nearby walks. We had the best of the weather so I cannot promise you that but overall we had a fantastic stay and I cannot recommend highly enough!

There isn't anything not to like in fairness

Highlight has to be the staff, who were all friendly, welcoming and couldn’t do enough to help. As a solo traveller was made to feel at home. Pub offers wet good pub meal classics. Nice breakfast with many options to choose from. Room was clean and comfortable

The bathroom in the Doormouse room was small, which was not an issue for me but could be for others
