Hard to fault in any way. A lovely stay. Comfortable room, great food and a warm welcome.

Great stay, very convenient location, hosts were amazing and good breakfast. Also enjoyed the quiz and bingo on the Sunday night.

Bathroom is a bit small, but was fine for us.

All was perfectly set. I wanted to stay in some countryside pub-like hotel with more types of beer, some food but at the same time clean and quiet room for sleeping. Everything was there, I really did enjoy my stay there. We went from Hope valley and then on the way back to Edale. There is also a bus going to Castleton so all is perfectly linked, the parking lot was big too but we arrived from Manchester by train

Our en-suite was very small but manageable

Hosts and Staff all lovely, and we felt we really mattered as guests. Room and balcony very nice. Food - evening meal and breakfast great value and high quality. Whole place was very clean and comfortable.

Slightly disappointing that we couldn't check in before 5pm, but we did find plenty to do in the surrounding area.

Pub. Good location for walking. Lovely staff.
