The property was ideally suited for our requirements. We were given a warm welcome by the owner and shown to our room and bathroom. Everything was spotless and there was much attention to detail. The breakfast was good; well presented and as we'd requested it.

"Very comfortable stay in a private home, with welcoming host."

Delicious breakfast and very comfortable accommodation in a private home. We were cycling and the host went out of her way and drive us to a local hotel for dinner, when we realized buses weren’t running (it was a public holiday).

Lots of little extra touches to make the stay special, eg a beautiful little jewellery box on the dressing table.. Breakfasts superb and hosts made us feel very welcome Rating 6*.

"Very comfortable."

We were walking the South Downs Way and Hysett House is quite near (5 minutes by bus every 30 minutes, the stop after the centre of the village). Walker often stay, so they were prepared for mudding guests. They do a good breakfast and offer a packed lunch. There is a pub in the middle of the village that does evening meals.

It might be hard to find without Google Map

"Very pleasant room - kind, friendly hosts"

Host very helpful and friendlyand situation quiet. Flowers from the garden and a bowl of fresh fruit were nice touches. breakfast was delicious looking out at the lovely garden. Many thanks.

Lane to property difficult to spot, but host kindly came to the main road to show us where to go.
