Rose and Crown Hotel

Great service, friendly and attentive

We just needed a bed for the night. There was free parking and was conveniently situated near the town for shops and restaurants. The room was comfortable and clean.

Don't look them up on the website as it's not what you get. There is no bar or restaurant. Just a hotel and Indian takeaway. The room was a bit shabby but it had everything you needed. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The location is perfect and free parking is a bonus. The bed was comfortable. Bathroom looks like it was recently renovated.

The smell of old building, not very clean as found a rizla and a pair of socks under the bed. Some spider webs on the ceiling.

Das Zimmer war groß, leider gab es keine Möglichkeiten, die Kleidung unterzubringen! Außerdem ist die Unterkunft sehr zentral!

Leider keine Möglichkeit, seine Klamotten einzuräumen, da es keinen Schrank gibt! Kein Frühstück.

The highlight of my trip was the meal at the Indian Restaurant located at The Rose and Crown- excellent food and service,and at a reasonable cost!

Not much- the hotel us an old building,but all the main facilities worked fine- the main difference since my previous visits is that the bar is now shut

Staff failed to check that the television not working. Staff failed to say to expect loud thudding music from adjacent property. I was disturbed by someone trying to open my locked bedroom door.
