Absolutely exceptional!!! A warm welcome from Steve, Gerry and staff, great beer, perfect rural pub feel with all mod cons. The food is OUT OF THIS WORLD ... worth travelling there to eat even if you're not staying. I had the King Prawn Linguine for dinner and it was the best I've ever had. Breakfast was fantastic and they even made me a brilliant sandwich to take on my hike. Honestly can't recommend The Mill Inn any higher ... just perfect!!!

Everything was perfect!

Geri and Steve couldn’t have done more to make us feel welcome and at home. The inn was in excellent order and our room was great. The food was well planned and home cooked.the Sunday roast was delicious. Well done you two, you made our holiday perfect!!

There was nothing we didn’t like

A hidden gem, in a quiet spot in the Lake District. The staff were very friendly and the food (dinner and breakfast) excellent. Lovely walking on the doorstep. Excellent value for money

Room a little small, but fine for one night.
